China Gems Laboratory Limited

CGL is a member of the Luk Fook Group – Established in 1996, It is the only and the first laboratory gaining both the ISO/IEC 17025 diamond and Fei Cui jadeite jade testing accreditations from HKAS in Hong Kong, also the first gem laboratory to pass the Chinese National standard GB/T9288 Gold Testing method accreditation from HKAS.

Chow Tai Fook Fei Cui Testing Centre

Chow Tai Fook (CTF) Fei Cui Testing Centre was established in 2011.The Centre was awarded for the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation by the Hong Kong Accreditation Service under the HOKLAS scheme for the Fei Cui Testing Centre. The HOKLAS accreditation number is 219. The Centre can provide Fei Cui (Jadeite Jade) test certificates. Subsequently, the Centre was successfully migrated into the accreditation of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 new laboratory management standard. The Centre only provides internal testing services to the domestic clients. It is not opened for external testing services. All Fei Cui to be sold in Hong Kong and Macau are tested by the Centre to assure they are natural Fei Cui (Type A) in order to be sold in the retail shops of CTF. The aim of which is to strengthen the confidence of the customers under the protection by CTF for authentic identification. In this way, the long term development of the Fei Cui sale industry can be expedited.

Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Limited

Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Limited (HKJSL) was established in 1993.  HKJSL carries out Fei Cui testing and certification services in an impartial and professional manner, enabling both consumers and jewellery traders to have a clear understanding about whether their Fei Cui is natural or treated.  HKJSL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA). A non-profit making organization, HKJJA does not directly involve in any trade transactions; therefore, it ensures that the testing and certification services provided are impartial and objective.

Jewellery Trade Laboratory Limited

Founded by HKJGA in October 1995, Jewellery Trade Laboratory Limited is committed to strengthening customersconfidence in jade articles by issuing jade testing reports and providing testing service for HKJGA members and industry players on a non-profit making basis. The data of the tested article will be obtained through a standardised thirteen process to confirm the authenticity and colour of the jadeite article, and an infrared spectrum examination will be carried out to determine if it is natural jadeite or treated jade containing resinissued by experienced gemologist.
